LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
February is the month of love. Everywhere you look there are valentines, flowers, chocolates, heart balloons, etc. Some people call it Single Awareness month. It is fun to watch people get excited over giving gifts to one another and celebrating friendships. That is a really cool thing, but when you don't feel loved it becomes a whole different thing.
So, what do you do when you don't "feel the love?"
Whether you feel loved or not, you are deeply loved. God, the Creator of the universe loves you! From the beginning of time He desired you. He longs to spend time with you, and He wants to be your everything.
John 3:16 tells us that He gave us His Son as a sacrifice, so that we can choose to spend forever with Him. But, we must make that choice. He doesn't force us to choose Him over ourselves.
As we read 1 Corinthians 13 we get to see a true picture of love. It is patient and kind and is not jealous and never ends!
As we go through our day let us remember to wear love everywhere we go, so that He shines through us in a dark world!
"Now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:13)
